which way to mod my ps2?

...... ok what is the best way o mod your Ps2, my Modded Ps2 took a dive, and well i never modded that one, my dad did....but sadly i can' get him to mod my other one, hes out of...um reach atm.

so whats the best way to mod your Ps2, with a swap disc? or mod chip? and what site(s) do you by the items from?


i feel an epic fail coming along Exclamation Shocked

I used swapmagic forever. Modding is stupid when you can just use a slide tool. The only downside. If you want to play God Of War or something, you'll need a loader that can handle DVD-9.

But if you use torrents, then you can probably get the shrunk version.

For the items, go to Modchipstore.com. Great thing, is if you live in Texas or the South. They're located in Dallas and ship with DHL.

160Gb Hard-Drive and a 250Gb


The Other one, I Have no clue. My brother gave it to me, I know it's a AMD 64. But it's not a X2.

Lol that's all I do is build my PCs. I bought a Dell two years ago. Worst decision of my life. IF your looking for premade pcs that let you install anything though. I'd get a HP. I've installed Windows 98, OS X, Windows Me, and 2000 (which is what I'm running on it now). Also be sure to get your products from TigerDirect, all these other sites/stores are ripping you off.
